Comments

When visitors leave comments on the blog, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

Note: We do not currently allow public users or clients to upload media files (images/video) directly to our public servers. This ensures the security and privacy of our platform.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Login Cookies: If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in to access your client page, we will also set several cookies to save your login information and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

General: Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.

EQuorient™ AI & ChatGPT: Our services may link to or embed tools hosted by OpenAI (ChatGPT). When you interact with the EQuorient™ GPT, your inputs are processed subject to OpenAI’s privacy policy. We do not retain your chat logs unless you explicitly share them with us.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with the following necessary service providers:

• Assessment Providers (MHS): If you take an EQ-i 2.0 or EQ-360 assessment, your name and email address are shared with Multi-Health Systems (MHS) to generate your assessment link. Your raw psychometric data is stored on their secure servers.
• Service & Hosting: We use third-party providers for website hosting, email scheduling, and spam detection.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law (e.g., a subpoena).

Confidentiality Note: We do not share your specific assessment results, results from tools you take on our site, or private coaching notes with your employer or HR department without your explicit written consent.

How long we retain your data

Comments: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This lets us automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments, rather than holding them in a moderation queue.

Registered Users: For users who register on our website (to schedule Coaching Sessions, access Documents and Interactive Forms, complete Payment, etc.), we store the personal information and form data they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Client Data: We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the service purposes, unless required by law to retain it for a longer period.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an export of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Client data and assessment results are processed and maintained on secure servers located in the United States.
